Cookies in the Rest Nest

My first event of the semester for my Suicide Prevention and Research Collaborative (SPARC) internship was tabling to urge students to check out the Rest Nest. The Rest Nest at UWEC is a quiet space for students to relax, and is located on the 5th floor of our library.

In order to encourage students to check out the space, I purchased snacks to help increase the attendance rate. In under two hours, roughly 32 students had signed into the Rest Nest, showing a substantial raise in attendants.

This next week we will be hosting a specific event for nursing students to come and spend time in the space, as stress rates among our nursing students is rather high.
