Family Assessment Internship

In my internship in the Human Development Center at my campus, I work under practicing licensed social workers, where I conduct in-home (virtual, currently) interviews with families. Working in this diverse team, consisting of Communication and Sciences Disorders, Special Education and Nursing disciplines,allowed me to gain a better understanding of what ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning and behavioral difficulties present in adolescents, and how to translate my observations and recommendations to families.
